this past week, lane was in chicago with some guys from church. so canon and i took advantage of this time to go visit my family in arkansas. we were only going to be able to be there about 48 hours, but it had been 5 1/2 months since some of them had seen canon. he's changed a lot during that time! they also hadn't seen chloe, so she took off a couple days from school and came with us. she was a great backseat friend for him. he loves her, and will go right to her. it's sweet! it was so wonderful to see almost everybody. while we were there, canon decided he wasn't going to eat well or sleep at night time. he was in a fabulous mood during the day entertaining all, though! i suspected an ear infection. friday night, we celebrated lauren's 20th birthday. when we got to tulsa that evening, i decided to run canon by urgent care to have his ear's checked...did not want to not sleep ALL weekend! he had one in his left ear. we hung out in muskogee for the rest of the weekend. it was a fun and BUSY week! we were glad to pick daddy up from the airport!

Glad you were able to visit with family and let them see Canon and the changes he has made. My family still hasn't seen my little baby. My parents and my sister saw him last May for the first time when he was 7 months old. Now, he is 16 months and has changed quite a bit since.
