today was canon's check-up...9 months already! at 6 months he was in the 10th percentile in both height and weight. well, he only gained a little over a pound (16.1 lbs now) in 3 months which dropped him to the 3rd percentile. poor LITTLE guy! he's 28 inches now...10 inches longer than when he was born. he's in the 50th percentile there. she's not concerned with his weight since everything else looks good. he eats 5-6 jars of baby food and still nurses 4 times a day. still not crawling, but getting very close as of this week. he rolls everywhere. it's amusing to watch him figure out the perfect angle to get what he wants. he has definitely found his voice. dada has quickly become his favorite word. we woke up a couple mornings this week to him saying dada repeatedly over the monitor. lane's loving it! me, too. i find myself encouraging him to "say dada" instead of teaching him mama. he still doesn't have any teeth, but the droolong is picking back up so maybe soon? the separation anxiety seems to be getting a little better...depending on his mood. he sleeps good enough for me. he's very ready to go to bed around 8:30, wakes about 5 or 6 to nurse, and then sleeps until 9ish. depending on our schedule, he still takes a morning and afternoon nap. he has such a fun personality. we are so blessed by him...

My 2 little boys didn't get their first tooth until they were 12 months. My oldest cut his first at 6 months. I had HEARD the later they cut teeth, the better their teeth will be. I'm not sure if it is true or not, but I'd like to think it is. :)
