"it's a boy" party...

we had our family over friday night to reveal the gender of baby moss. chloe wasn't able to be there because she was at camp. so on monday, i had lauren make two envelopes numbered one and two with a piece of paper labeled boy in envelope one and girl in two. she placed them in her suitcase. i called chloe as soon as i found out last tuesday. she was loading the bus to leave for camp. i just told her to open envelope nuber one when she got to camp. she knew all week what it was! back to friday...we decorated with pink and blue because i had ordered a cake from merritts bakery to reveal the gender.

we had pizza for dinner. after dinner was over, i had everyone write down their gender, birthday, weight, and length predictions on scrapbook paper. they will go in the scrapbook along with all of your predictions!

everyone gathered around the table for the big reveal. lane got it all on video from this vantage point. of course, what would a baby gender reveal be for us without having everyone close their eyes! something about everyone finding out at the same exact time...

such a fun, memorable night! now that we know what the baby is, it somehow makes it more real. we are so excited to meet HIM!!! now he just needs a name. feel free to leave any suggestions in the comments! you know how hard it was for us to name canon. boy names are hard for us for some reason...
