skinny-mi(ckey)...

ok...cheesy title, i know, but i've actually found myself saying this to canon lately! bless his sweet little heart, he's just so teeny. it's that time again to start thinking about buying fall/winter clothes. as many of you know, i bought his 12-18 month spring/fall clothes back at the beginning of march knowing he wouldn't be wearing them until may and wouldn't stop wearing them until october. sadly, his clothes have hung off him for the past 4 months! and literally fallen off of him on occasion!

while we were in branson a couple of weeks ago, i was so excited to hit up the outlet malls to stock up. what we found was not old navy, not gymboree, and not even children's place had pants that fit my strangely shaped child. in order for the waist to fit, the length was too short. and vice versa.

so what did we have to resort to? good 'ol gap! growing up, gap was pretty much the only place i could find pants to fit. good news, due to my now average size, i can buy pants anywhere! in baby gaps pants/shorts, they have the adjustable waistband which saved us this summer. i got an email from gap last week saying they were having a "buy one pair of jeans, get another for $10" sale. yay! (btw, i've found some incredible deals lately!) so we hit up the gap the other day and got my baby some jeans. we had to get 6-12 months, and they're still a wee bit big, but *crossing fingers* hopefully this time he'll grow into them over the next few months!

so without further ado...my little man, or recently known as skinny-mi(ckey)...

His smallness just makes him even cuter! Glad you found some jeans that work. God bless whoever invented adjustable jeans!

My oldest and youngest are like that. Nothing fit them. They had to wear premie clothes when they were born they were so small. My middle son, he is thick. So never had a problem there. GAP usually does have some good sales. I am plannng on going shopping next weekend. The boys are in NEED of fall clothes.
