toy story 3...

to say we were excited about this movie is a huge understatement! we've been looking forward to it for at least a year. the toy story series is definitely our favorite pixar movies. a couple of months ago, lane introduced canon to the pixar shorts dvd. they would watch them anytime lane fed him. canon was fixated. one night canon was really tired, but we were trying to keep him up until his bedtime so we put in toy story. it was love at first site! it was the first feature length film to hold his attention the whole way through. he became obsessed instantly, wanting to watch it 24/7. it boded well for him that toy story 3 was set to be released soon. everywhere we went, we saw woody and buzz. that boy can spot the gang anywhere! he loved it so much that we even made a last minute switch-a-roo of his birthday party theme. we couldn't wait to take him to see the new movie. i wasn't too sure how he would do at the theater, but figured that there would be other rowdy kids there as well. we got ledger a babysitter, and set off!

the night before, we learned how much canon loves popcorn. this boy thought he was a hot shot sitting in his "big boy" booster eating his own little baggie of popcorn. he kept asking lane for more.

he did really well during the movie. at one point, he said he needed to go potty so aunt lala took him, but it was a false alarm. when he got back, he was a bit restless so we popped the 'ol passy in and settled in for the remaining movie. this picture is our attempt at giving daddy a thumbs up after the movie was over!

it was a great movie with a very satisfying ending to a wonderful series!
