a mean trick...

i came home the other day to this...

lane playing video games and canon thinking he was playing, too. he had "plugged" canon's controller into the drawer, and canon was loving it. he sat there so sweetly pushing buttons and talking to the skaters on the screen. he loves to spend time with his daddy. most of the time he wants lane to play guitar while he goes about his business. now his new thing is wanting lane to play video games while he sits next to him. lane secretly loves this!

lane says that he and his brothers used to do this same trick to their youngest brother when he would want to play with him. it's a good trick since canon has no idea he's not playing but loves the idea of a controller in his hands! he's so cute.
