weaning...

i just finished nursing ledger for the last time. it's really sad to me. probably has to do with the fact that for the past almost 3.5 years, i have been growing and/or nourishing someone the whole time. and now, no one is dependent on me. i like to be needed :) i don't remember feeling this way with canon, but he was ready to be done since my supply was kind of low and i was thinking "i'm going to be at this again in 6 months" so i welcomed the break. ledger loves nursing which has made me love it all the more. i'm sure i'll be singing a different tune once i come to appreciate the new freedom i now have. i smell a vacation in lane and i's near future!!
