a week and a half ago, the boys had a babysitter where they played some game of "rocketship". during the week, when i would ask them what they were doing, they nearly always said "playing rocketship!" on lane's day off last week, they wanted to play that with their daddy so mr. creative got to work on the ultimate rocketship. it was pretty impressive! they played in it forever...until naptime. they ended up building another one on canon's bed later that day!
since then, they've gotten creative on their own in making smaller rocketships under the table, in the laundry basket or building one with blocks. i LOVE that imaginary play is becoming such a HUGE part of their play!
