the best big brothers...

**this was drafted 2 months ago, but somehow got overlooked and never posted!


saying the boys love and adore knox is the understatement of the year. they really are the best big brothers. they are so good to him and jump at the opportunity to help him. 

one morning, i was ironing and knox was wanting to be held. i stuck him in the bumbo and asked the boys to bring him a couple of toys. before long, they had all the baby toys and books out! they kept going back to his room saying, "one more, mom."

they sat there with him so sweetly for about 30 minutes giving him toys and reading books to him. ledger read him a book about animals. each page he would say, "dat a cow...moo," "dat a cat...meow," "dat a duck...quack quack." so sweet. canon read him a book called "i love you through and through." he would kiss him wherever the book said to. it was a sweet morning.

now that knox needs a little more entertainment, we've started pulling the fun toys out! that same day, we got the johnny jump-up out. the boys were LOVING it! i overheard canon telling ledger, "let's push him!" i kept having to tell them to bounce/swing him gently; that babies don't like to go high. oh, boy. i love the look on knox's face..."help me!"

his goal anytime he is awake is figuring out how to get something in his mouth!

knox is a blessed boy to have the best big brothers around! i'm so thankful they all have each other. i pray that they will always be the best of friends!
