wednesday turned out to be a beautiful day all day. we took advantage of the pool first thing that morning while lauren, katie and mimi parasailed! they had a good time! it was on mimi's bucket list :)
after awhile, mimi and knox headed upstairs while the rest of us went down to the beach. the boys have talked about building sandcastles for months now, but once finally getting to the beach, they decided digging holes and pouring sand out was more fun!

it took ledger awhile to understand shells were not edible. no idea why he thought they were different from rocks and he'd be able to eat them. silly boy!

that night, we had decided to stay in and take some pictures out on the beach. when we got down to the beach, we discovered my camera had fogged up pretty bad with the extreme humidity. i was so frustrated. thankfully, mimi had brought her camera down and lane had his iphone so we were still able to get some good pics!
we ended up ordering some yummy pizza from across the street and hung out watching the olympics and playing cards. it was probably the most all-around relaxing day of the week. love making memories with my sweet family!
