it's our 3rd anniversary...

already! i can't believe that it has been 3 years since that wonderful day. last night, we were talking about how we've basically been together everyday since then. we went from seeing each other 2 days out of every week or two for 3 years to seeing each other all the time! that's one of my favorite things about being married is spending time together. my love language is quality time so, for me, it doesn't matter if we're just sitting at home or going out. as long as i'm with my best friend! i've learned so much during this time as well. i've always struggled with selfishness, but was hit head on with it after we got married. i've come along way with god's grace and help, but it has a way of still rearing it's ugly head. i'm so thankful for a patient husband! although it seems like the past 3 years have flown by, when i think of all we've done during that time, it's exhausting and seems like it could only be reality with 10 years of marriage. we've both graduated college, started new jobs (twice for lane), been apart for a semester, moved to 2 different cities, moved 6 dreadful times (i hate moving), had a baby, have another baby on the way, and are preparing to buy a house! whew! along with all of this, comes the responsibility of being adults on your own. oh how we hated forking over $500 for a new car a/c, but at the same time, god has been so faithful to us! we have never been in need! looking forward to many more years...

i love you, lane! thank you for being everything god has called you to be! you're wonderful!

BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!! Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary! May you have many more happy years. It makes a difference when God is in your marriage huh! I am glad to say I have seen you two when you were little kids, then as you were dating in high school, and now to see you have your family...You two belong to each other and it shows that God has been faithful in your lives.
