this week thus far...

i have no idea why this has an underline, but i'ts not worth fighting. i've been trying to upload these pictures for the last hour! we got to muskogee saturday evening, and hit up wal-mart first to stock up on food for canon. now look th e underline is gone...oh well! sunday was a relaxing day that ended up being somewhat cool. such a refreshing change! we got to sit outside that evening for an hour and a half while canon pushed his toy up and down the driveway. he loved it!
we also blew bubbles... another one of his favorites! we wore the boy out. the few days we've been here, he has at least slept until 10:30 every morning. it has been a wonderful gift he has given me. I've actually stayed in bed until 9:30 or 10 each morning.

tuesday morning, we met dawn and the boulevard kids at the waterpark here in town. it was lots of fun, and a nice morning (the humidity has not been around this week). canon absolutely loves his bath each day. it's so bad that he actually whines and points to the bathroom every time we walk past it. well, pools are a different story. it takes him about 10-15 minutes to "warm" up to it. then he remembers how much he loves the water. he actually went under yesterday on accident. he sneezed and fell/floated backwards under the water. he didn't cry!
we hung out on the beach incline for most of the time. we scooted further and further in. he played with chloe's hair thing most of the time. he thought it was pretty entertaining. we also floated around the lazy river a few times. he loves that. he was so relaxed!


yesterday afternoon, i got my hair trimmed finally! it had been way too long. after mine was done, i decided it was time to get rid of the amish mullet. don't get me wrong, i love the amish...just not their hairstyle on my son! i brought a sucker this time since i couldn't bring the popsicle that kept him still last time. he kept slowly leaning away from the clippers. he did so good though! he looks like a little man now..so cute though! and don't mind my shirley temple curls...


i've been spending my evenings scrapbooking. i'm trying to catch up from february. i enjoy it even though i drive myself crazy! we are heading over to dawn's this evening until saturday. lane will come to muskogee friday when he gets back. we miss him! i told canon this morning when he woke up- only 2 more night-nights til daddy gets home!
