since we moved to this house, i've had in mind what i the wall above the baby bed to look like. i looked all over the internet to see where i could buy a painted canvas with a verse on it. i found some on etsy, but they were wanting $75+ for them. after a pep talk to myself and the reassuring fact that i could get supplies cheap at hobby lobby should i mess up, i dove in. i drive myself crazy. im a perfectionist and my own worst critic. i seriously worked on this project for over 2 weeks and probably put at least 15 hours into it. it.took.forever! but after it was finished i was very pleased with it. it fills the space perfectly and a reminder of my father's love for me that i want to share with my boys (zephaniah 3:17). it's the perfect "bedtime" verse!
the rug was the inspiration piece for colors and design!

Kel, I LOVE it!!! I've been coming up with art ideas for my office and my future living space. I'm kind of fearful because I'm not the most artistic person but I'm excited at the same time! I'll post pics on my blog of what I do :) Yours turned out SO GREAT!
