tasty tuesday:crockpot edition

yes...late, but up. i LOVE crockpot cooking...especially during the fall and winter! i like to try different recipes, but i always have the few that stay in the rotation. so without further ado.

roast
1 rump roast
1 packet of dry onion soup mix
1 package of small carrots
5-6 red potatoes, cubed

put roast in crockpot. place carrots and potatoes around roast. sprinkle with dry onion mix, salt, and pepper. pour 2 cups of water on top. cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours. smells divine while cooking!

brown beans and ham
1 lb brown beans
1 package of cubed ham

soak beans overnight (or do the quick soak method). rinse and place in crockpot with ham (and juices). season with salt, pepper, and 1-2 tablespoons of sugar. cover with water. cook on low for 6-8 hours. serve with cornbread...and fried potatoes. yum.

cream cheese chicken
1 package of chicken tenderloins (or 3 chicken breasts)
1 block of cream cheese
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 package dry italian dressing mix

spray crockpot with pam. cube uncooked chicken and place in crockpot. mix soup and dry italian dressing. pour over chicken. slice cream cheese into 1/4" slices and place on top of chicken. pour half of a can of water into crockpot. cover and cook for 2-3 hours on high. serve over cooked egg noodles.

oh my. now that i've made myself hungry...

please, PLEASE share your crockpot recipes. i'm always looking for easy meal ideas!
