iphone dump...

time for another installment of an overdue, iphone dump!

sweet brothers. they laid like this for several minutes before knox crawled off.  

this little boy is all about making big messes these days! he's always off "exploring" something. his new favorite thing is crawling into the playroom and emptying out all the pencil/crayon/marker cups on the boys' art desk. he also enjoys emptying the coffee table baskets of diapers and magazines. 

 

canon is SO the oldest child. what would ledger do without him! i guess not know how to look at the camera :)

after church one sunday, we got to go eat lunch with reese and his mom and dad. the kiddos were pretty excited about getting a table all to themselves. they insisted upon all sitting on the same side! i love childhood.

canon worked on this picture for me for a solid 2 days. he has never shown interest in coloring, but recently, LOVES it. he made sure every patch of white was colored in. this is something i want to save forever! he asked me how to spell "mom". i heart that boy!

this was at the doctor one day. the boys love to get out and play in front of the van on this grassy area while i get knox and the stroller out. ledger hollered at me to take his picture. i looked over and he was posed like this! i swear he looks 10 here. growing up too fast!

uh-oh...another drummer in the house!  

canon is turning into quite the photographer these days. he LOVES to take pictures on my phone. that darn camera access button on the lockscreen of my phone! i find tons of the most random photos from him. one day while we were running errands, he was insistent on getting a picture of the clouds. this one finally satisfied him :)

i completed my first pinterest project this week! we had canon's last speech appointment yesterday. we have been going for 2 years now. i'm so proud of the progress canon's made. to think at 27 months, he only had 5 unprompted words in his vocabulary. we owe so much of his success to his wonderful therapists, miss kim (hi, kim!) for the first 10 months and miss michelle for the rest of it. he has loved going! we are so grateful for their services and are excited that there is a branch of the rite clinic in joplin. canon has just a couple more goals to work toward, mainly grammer. we are also looking into putting ledger in. he has developed the same bad habits that canon had, initial consonant deletion and backing for you speechies! 

 

just this week, this little guy has started pulling up to standing position. i was going through the boys' old shoes this past weekend and came across these nikes. uncle kyle, the tennis shoe guy, bought these for canon and each boy has now gotten to wear them!

knox had a follow-up appointment for his belly button with our pediatrician this week. the boys insisted upon bring their telescopes. have i mentioned that i LOVE being a boy mom? :)

i love oreos, and when i saw the orange halloween ones, i knew that i NEEDED them, but i resisted the urge. later that night, i regretted that decision big time! so you better believe i bought them next time i was at the store. sadly, i only got to eat a couple before going out of town. mr. lane took it on himself to finish them off. boo.

lane ran into one of our favorite "big brother" players, brittany, at the dust bowl. she lives in owasso! he text me to ask if she lived here before going up to ask for a picture. you can imagine how excited i was! shanna, this was like a step above seeing news personalities around town for me! if only i would've been there.

lala flew in one night for 24 hours. the boys were excited to get to stay up and go to the airport. her plane kept getting delayed (just like old times), but she finally made it around 11! the 3 best friends reunited!

we got to meet sweet penelope. canon was smitten! he asked for another sibling while getting on the elevator.

these guys are really into cooking. they go through phases of playing with their kitchen, but lately, it's their favorite thing. they typically get all the food out and sit at the table to cook. some of their favorites are "apple stew" and "chicken soup." they also enjoy getting me multiple varieties of beverages.
