while mom and dad are away...

our family was gracious enough to watch the boys while we were in oregon. they LOVED, LOVED their time! they stayed the first weekend with my mom and chloe. they had an all things ninja turtle weekend, complete with making "sewer water"!

i believe whipped cream on a plate was aunt chloe's special treat!

on sunday evening, the boys headed over to oomah and pops house. the boys cousins were also in town and for about 20 hours, they had 4 preschoolers, a toddler and an infant! i know the boys LOVED playing with their cousins.

during the week, they made lots of cool experiments, including chalk paint...

on friday, my mom took the boys half way to meet lauren and kyle. the boys love going to dallas! a package of balloons was a highlight according to them!

since it was SO hot, they did lots of playing at the mall!

i'm so thankful for people in our lives who love our babies well and allow me to leave them to have some me time! i had only left knox for one night before this trip and the big boys never for more than 2 or 3 nights at a time. it made it so much easier leaving knowing the hands that would be taking care of my boys! so thankful :)
