tasty tuesday:christmas menu edition...

of course, eating is one of my most favorite traditions of the holiday season. something about eating foods that we only make during christmas...fudge, wassail, white chocolate covered pretzels to name a few. we traditionally have finger foods/snacks on christmas eve, but we are changing up our christmas day menu this year. here's what we have in store for our bellies this weekend:

christmas eve

meatballs
pigs-in-a-blanket
crab cakes
stuffed jalapenos
cheese dip
spinach dip
puppy chow
fudge
white chocolate covered pretzels
"happy birthday, jesus" cookie cake

christmas morning

sausage-egg casserole
cinnamon rolls
fresh fruit
wassail

christmas lunch/dinner

ribeyes
twice-baked mashed potatoes
green bean bundles
rolls
salad

my stomach is growling right now as i type all this. so looking forward to some down time with our families the next couple of weeks!
