every year on father's day, lane leaves for jr. high camp. we just celebrate early! on thursday night, the boys and i made him his favorite meal...a huge steak and watermelon. it was a sweet night celebrating an amazing man. my boys are so blessed to have the dad they do. he is so hands-on and their favorite person! he is patient, gentle, funny, silly, brave, and loves the lord with everything in him! happy father's day, lane :)
friday, we headed to muskogee to lane's parents house. his brother and his wife were in town, as well as our sister-in-law, niece, and nephew. we spent the evening outside and grilling burgers. aunt dee brought all kinds of fun goodies for the kiddos!
the boys made pops a coffee mug for father's day!
saturday was deemed water day. the boys had fun playing with their cousins and uncles.
the big boys had lots of fun, too :)
sweet ollie loves his daddy!
aunt denise is so good to our kids.
saturday night we said good-bye to lane for 2 weeks and headed to my mom's for the week. 'tis the season for youth ministers! we've never done weeks back-to-back, but i'm telling myself it's better so it's out of the way! we will be making our rounds visiting family. we went to church with my mom sunday morning and then sent chloe off to camp...the same one as lane. my boys were representing the thunder...preppy style!
father's day last year was super sad. lane had left for camp and i started bleeding at 12 weeks. i spent the day convinced i was miscarrying my sweet baby. i'm so thankful for knox's sweet life. he is a JOY!
we are looking forward to a fun week!

I'll be praying for you! Two weeks is a long time without daddy... but you have a great attitude and it sounds like you'll have lots of help. =) Enjoy your time with family!
LOVE the pics of you with the 3 boys!! The orange and blue outfits are adorable!!!
