this past week of being snowed in stretched us to come up with fun things to keep the boys and ourselves entertained. besides crafts, hide-n-seek and other games, cooking, movies and this not-so-bright moment for my husband, lane and canon created a pretty cool tent/tunnel/fort thing.
while ledge and i napped, they came up with this idea which started out small around the bookshelf. nothing is good enough for lane until it's the biggest and best it can be! i love that lane has boys that he can recreate fun things he did in his childhood for. he's a great daddy.
10 chairs, a playkitchen , lots of toys, every blanket available, and a light sabre later it looked like this! i gotta admit...i was WAY impressed (although, let's be honest. it's pretty easy to impress me)!
they read books, ate a snack and skyped with uncle tyler. ledger even enjoyed it...that is before he destroyed it!

I love that you all are so creative with the boys, and you don't care how big of a mess it makes. They won't forget it, in fact, Canon will probably think you all should do it every time it snows! Fun!
This looks like so much fun! I bet those boys are loving Blizzard '11.
My brothers and I totally did that when we were little!! Such a blast!!
