major catch-up...

hey y'all! it's that time of the year for me to fall off the blogging wagon. even though may has been super busy, i honestly haven't had any desire to blog, and when i would think about catching up, it was overwhelming and i would watch tv instead! below are the links to all the posts i did tonight or just scroll down the page...

my heart has been broken and my stomach in knots over the joplin tornadoes. we have so many friends and family that live there. lane lived there for 4 years, and we lived there together for 6 months. i worked as an rn at the hospital that wasn't affected. everyone we know is safe. our friends', eric and torrie, and their one month old baby lost their home, but were not injured. eric wrote today about the event on his blog. they have been such a beautiful picture/example of steadfast trust and faith in god. eric's tweet the night of the storm has resonated with me...it is well with my soul. wow.

it's surreal watching the coverage and seeing familiar places gone. the home we lived in is gone. lane went up on monday to help with what he could , and took several videos that break my heart. however, it's soooo encouraging to see the church being the hands and feet of jesus. what an opportunity to show god's love for his children! please continue to pray for the people of that town.

I haven't been in a blogging mood lately either..I hate to say the TV has become priority in the evenings now. Thanks for catching me us on your life though! I can't believe Canon is almost 3!!! They are getting so big!

I also can't believe Dylan graduated with 3...that just blows my mind! I graduated with 1342!

So glad you're back to catch us up! I enjoyed reading about your family's programs, parties, and graduations. Hearing about the tornado devastation has been surreal. I've been glued to updates on Facebook about the one that hit near OKC. Sorry to hear that your friends in Joplin were affected. Praying for everyone in the Homeland!
